Redesigned ASP.NET website for an international student conference
I led a development team that redesigned UNIS-UN's website. UNIS-UN is a student organization that plans and coordinates an annual international student conference held in the United Nations General Assembly Hall. The redesign modernized the online presence and improved user experience for prospective participants from around the world.
Challenge
The original website was outdated and difficult to navigate. As an international conference attracting students from many countries, the site needed to effectively communicate UNIS-UN's mission, event details, and registration information to a global audience.
Leadership & Execution
I took the lead in:
Establishing visual branding and design system
Coordinating the development team
Building the technical infrastructure with ASP.NET
Implementing registration and information management systems
Creating an intuitive user experience
Impact
The redesigned website successfully represented UNIS-UN to an international audience, improved registration processes, and enhanced the conference participant experience. It demonstrated that effective web design could support an organization's mission.
Design principles
Designed to communicate to an international audience. Prioritized clarity, accessibility, and effective information hierarchy.
Impact
Transformed UNIS-UN's online presence and supported the organization's mission of bringing international students together.
